Anyone in TX who was laid off and had to go to open market for health insurance? I did and I think I'm being scammed. Need suggestions on where to go for health insurance.

I was laid off from Xerox in March and since I'm a veteran, I applied for VA Healthcare Benefits and they are helping me a lot. There are companies that offer healthcare benefits as insurance if you are unemployed but you will have to pay a lot of money each month for the coverage. Ask the people at your unemployment office about getting health insurance.
