To get indirect shady and let the managers deal with the consequences!! Screw em , they aren't hear to help us sell... They get all dishoveled when the district manager calls, they talk about every single number and only focus on how bad your numbers are but when the reps need help they never jump into any sales, why do the sm's even have a job, 3 sm's in my store and not one jumps in and helps

OP, I feel sorry for you manager, what with having to deal with his subordinates' inability to coherently communicate. Ironic, given you're in the telecommunication field... How about learn to properly speak and write your native language before attempting to call your slack-jawed peers to arms?
Stores will be replaced by auth retailers... look at the signs. This all started whenVZW said no to the Iphone in 2007 and lost millions.

I laugh at every manager above me!! This type of sales environment is antiquated. My DM tries to rule with fear, it doesn't work she is laughed at all the time.
Same with us in our store, the Sm's run around to get numbers for the district manager and all they talk about is negative , honestly to think about it, this work place is a negative enviorment every day!! Really bad for your health

It looks like you hit a nerve. A couple of managers and SMs on this chat.
The reason the focus is on the negative is because it trickles down from Director to DM to Managers. The director gets it from VP or executive director because they only know how to manage by fear.
They have a couple of their favorites and the rest they beat down. It's been like that for quite a long time because they are really not leaders. They caught the wave at the time of the merger. People laugh at them not with them.
