Per a few news posts today ... "IBM dumped nearly a third of their market value ($34 Billion) for Red Hat". THINK about that for a minute. IBM is indirectly saying their strategic imperatives, by themselves, aren't capable to reach desired growth and revenue objectives. This purchase is nothing more that a financial life preserver.
