My Manager has always told me " We are all going to be tappedpn theshoulderone day, so be prepatedforwhen, not if, that happens.". I wish SLT would realize how demoralizing this is!!!
Many times over. There are currently 4 corporate waves scheduled and that does not include any LOB funded actions. Always remember that everyone is replaceable...especially outside of Charlotte. It is interesting to see the competitive market in Charlotte given the lack of talent as a result, folks in Charlotte should feel a little more secure but not totally. Just have your resume ready keep your head down and do your job that's the best advice I can give.

I e known people that have been at BAC for 40 years and they will tell you it’s just how it works. Remember employment is a two way street you have something to offer as well. fire them
there will be layoffs forever.......technology is exponential and will replace people more frequently....that along with outsourcing means...... you should be prepared for a short term career....i'm not trying to be pessimistic but am warning you to face reality..

I think they should short their own stock in order to meet $$ goals.
Maybe then BAC will avoid layoffs
