Fortunately the DNA of our Services Reps are honorable. They care for the Customer and our company. I think, you who mentioned this, should hang up tool kit and stop all this negative rhetoric. Looks like you are aiming to be let go with cause!

what will happen is that they will get fired and now with reason.

You must work for a competitor. Xerox service techs have more integrity and respect for themselves, their jobs and their company than to act that way. Move along.

Absolutely astounding that people would have this mentality and then turn around and blame management for the loss of their job. Sure what is going on is awful for pretty much everyone sticking around, but why allow yourself to be part of the problem. Take some pride in your work and if you get laid off, leave knowing it had nothing to do with your work ethic or abilities.

Agreed. OP should turn in their badge and go work for Canon or Ricoh. Good Riddance. The rest of us here are trying to build (rebuild) the company we still love and will continue to love. Things might be messy right now, but I have faith those of us who survive this carnage want to see the company through. We might be sold, but I'm still the person who supports the customer who bought the equipment, whether my paycheck says Xerox or FujiXerox or whatever. Please turn in your badge, the rest of us would appreciate it.

Why not just turn in your badge and call it a day? It's BS moves like this that screw over other people.
