I worked for Allstate for 12 years and achieved excellent stats but only the favored children who s—ed up to Management got DPA awards. It was totally a rigged system
I love that there is probably someone in Ho whose job is to scour net (u laugh many companies have positions like this) and refute true information if it casts bad light on the good hands. Maybe I will learn about it one day on company board under “what does a Internet Advocate do?”

DPA was unfair ? Allstate Claims was the ONLY insurance company of its size to recognize and reward its claim employees with anything close to DPA. At one point we recognized over 800 employees and their guests, spending several million a year on the event. Yes, there were limits. Company’s have budgets. If you think it was “unfair”, because only our best employees would go, and we’re better off without it, you got it.
All DPA trips have been done away with.

We need to recognize more than 4% dpa was unfair what a sad pathetic spin to shafting workers so execs can line pockets of their portfolios with options.
Again why are there deliberate corporate apologists on a board focused on grapevine info not communicated by the company? Lurkers, or people G only knows part of some home office whack cost center job for patrolling the net lol (as other companies do but geared toward consumer complaints).
Allstate’s gifts and trips policy is epitome of double standard zero tolerance for actual workers but I’m sure the exec level employees NEVER go on dinners or sporting events with suppliers vendors etc rolfmao.
Elitist ? There are rewards for achieving higher levels of leadership in every organization. First of all, we’re only a sponsor of the event and we pay for attendees. Yes, higher levels of leadership will probably be rewarded over claim rep levels. That said, I’ve seen many claim reps rewarded with tickets and full packages to New Orleans over the years.
And forget going to the Sugar Bowl. Only band E or higher. How elitist can you be. Told travel is being cut. How much is the company spending on travel for senior management? What a shame. This on the backs of the employees who truly drive the numbers.
