A heap of rumors swirling that CJ will see a 50 - %80 cuts to workforce. True or not true? We realise CJ has been deprioritized.

Recently moved from Jasper to another company. They had layoff this week. Half of my team is gone with my manager. Interesting thing is Directors are still intact except one or two. They laid of managers and engineers and tech leads lol. They have crazy number of directors there ... so political. please stay away from this BU. They have nice talent and product but they dont make enough money since they have sold their product way too lower price.
Another Cisco BU to be sold.
I don’t know if the numbers are true but the word, when I was in SJ in September, was that Jasper was a big disappointment and had not met any of its targets.
The lack of integration into Cisco Sales did not help. In the mercenary world that is Sales, no-one is interested in promoting something that they won’t get paid on.
Despite RT’s enthusiasm, Jasper’s offer will only appeal to a niche market.
The IOT BE leadership are only interested in profit and margin. If Jasper isn’t delivering, it will have a short life there.
Jasper is crook. The million subscribers are fake. There are many Director and Sr. Director and no reports. They are doing sh**t.
Yes Alpharetta office will be closed and a few will be given 60 days to relocate to CA or get another job
Would be a different world for CJ if it could read & respond to connected device data.
