The layoffs are about two themes in their reptilian brains:
- That Experienced, In Country, Employees that generate repeated license sales, repeated services sales, etc. Can be replaced by dirt cheap offshore resources that can't speak the local language.
Nope. Watch those sales go to competitors.
- Oh My God. People with experience, local knowledge are TOO expensive!
Really? So give up that market. Make your competitors stronger.
