So sad. The Hackensack, NJ store has been there since 1930’s. Very nice stand alone store in downtown area. I used to shop there with my mom as a child.

O.P you just summed up a major problem with sears. You used to shop there as a child with your mom. Your mom's probably dead and you don't shop there. the middle class is gone has been split some move up and would not be caught dead in a sears the others can't afford to shop here
Jersey City store has been around for a while too. But its pretty much become a dump. Underpaid workers and a store manager that likes to cheat on metrics to look good. Its so sad to see what this company has become.
