Side note on the Selma comment. All the communication I've seen about Selma is that it is closing. I haven't seen that they are selling it at all. I'm.betting that it is closed for 1-2 years and opened up after 2020 is complete as a celebration. Just my thought. Also, while we're at it, maybe we stop using the heritage fleet and corporate jets too.

Don't disagree with you on your post, however it is worth mentioning that Selma costs Millions a year to operate and doesn't benefit the company except as a vacation home for higher ups and their work buddies. It's UPs Playboy mantion. Cutting it out is not a huge loss like it is losing employees and fixing the actual problem of the operations.
Certain people are not aware of it, or will believe what they want! Selma is being sold off! Can the UP afford to keep it, YES THEY CAN! The Selma sell off will look better to investors, attorneys, and distract from the layoffs! It's nothing more than a distraction! It will keep the eyes of certain individuals from looking at the direct business practices! Anyone ever curious as to why Cameron Scott left in such a hurry! Anyone even know the other real estate that the UP owns! Those f---tards in the glass palace are screwing up this company! If by chance you're still there, then get the hell out of there! This company is not worth it, and will take anyone down with it! I will imagine that you're going to see some sh-- hit the fan REAL soon! Unfortunately by the time the board or the investors realize that sh--head CEO f---ed up, it's too late! The damage at that point is either irreversible or will take years to mend! People, it's simply not worth your health to work for that company! That stupid PSR plan looks great in black and white, but the effects of it are catastrophic!
I also was told that real estate has already been out to Selma and it will be listed for sale in the coming months. All but 10 employees have been let go and the remaining 10 are being kept until the property sells.
It was confirmed to me that they are selling it by an executive member.
