I wish they would announce the next round of closing stores already, quit dragging it out. Associates still believe everything will be ok, I dont think they will even attempt to move on until they see their store on the list.

They haven’t filed anything yet as they postponed their November hearing with the BK court to decide next steps. At this point, Sears only secured enough financial backing to make payroll this week. If they don’t secure financial backing soon the next payroll is not going to be made. So make it clear to anyone still with Sears that they should move on if they are able to find something, anything is more secure than Sears.
Ask yourself what would you do differently if they "announced" the store closings. I don't get it. What difference would it make to know your store was going to close today, tomorrow, next week or in January? Stop sitting around wondering and go about your life otherwise you are defining yourself as employed or soon-to-be-unemployed. Its sad, in a stupid way.
If there is any associates that think everything ok then they are the stupidest fücking people in the world
