Store closing , vendors wont sell to Sears , no new loan in sight , layoff coming ! What is real news and what's fake , please do not spread rumors unless you have good source . Some folks use this forum to gather information on what's going on , it really clouds the issues with children allowed to use their parents computer to spread c--p when peoples way of life is on the line ! FEEL ME ?

Op the claims are just standard Bk proceeding operation.
In our store we got two EXTRA trucks this week, I have not seen the store this well stocked in 20 years. We have scheduled a replenishment team overnight to stock for friends and family.
Maybe we close in chapter 7 but it won’t be because vendors aren’t shipping.
If you were in a burning building and you saw beams and fire and things burning all around you would you wait for official word to leave and tell you that the building is on fire? Or would you just run the hell out of that building?

All of what you said are true and happening. Stores are closing.
Vendors are not selling to Sears. The truth about that came out with the bankruptcy filing. Some had posted it on here earlier but they were ignored, wrongfully.
Eddie's not jumping up with a loan and I don't see anyone else giving one right now. His looking for a partner is pathetic. I'm sure Bruce Berkowitz could set any potential partner straight. His belief in Eddie's magic tarnished his entire career.
With a bankruptcy and stores closing, safe to say layoffs are coming.

I secured my families way of life by LEAVING Sears Holdings. There is no job safety for anyone with them in BK. If they don’t secure funds, they won’t be able to meet payroll in 2 weeks! So go out and find a new job and leave Sears so your family is financially secure
