The Walmart Cheer is the most lame thing the Old Man ever came up with. Nothing more pathetic than forcing adult employees to engage in kindergarten behavior. 99.9% of the rank and file are there for the paycheck, not to act like a clown.
There are probably children that witness this and make fun of the workers.
Was still going strong in corporate so 80s and cheesy. Traditionals come and go this needs to go.
I guess it must depend on the store. Where I was at til three years ago, they'd pretty much dropped all that right along with the 5 pm meetings. We were too understaffed for that foolishness.
