Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

When will we see the worst of it?

We all know the worst is yet to come. Any predictions on when, though? I'm not sure how much more of this anticipation my nerves can take...

Pack up your personal belongings. The next day is Tues, November 13th. Doesn’t matter if you’re a high performer. No one is safe.

UP (or anybody else) doesn't have to "intercept" the traffic to see the ultra-irritating exclamation point numbnuts on here. So, yeah, they can still track your writing style on here. I sincerely doubt they actually are, but what is known is that these rants of yours might be cathartic but add nothing to the discussion, and clutter up the board for hardworking employees looking for real information.

No they can't. It's someone else trying to spread fear. I suggest the person who posted that read the Electronics Communication Privacy Act of 1986. The UP CANNOT lawfully intercept any telephone, email, or other forms of electronic communications outside of it's network without consent! It can however track anything if such communications are done within their own system! So in other words, the exclamation point statement was false! I would very much like to see how someone can be identified by a punctuation point! It sounds like there's a lot of people affected by what's going on with the company. It would take an order by a federal magistrate judge to issue any kind of a warrant relating to communication surveillance and investigations! The company simply cannot do it on it's own. I saw no threat of physical violence! I did however see many people upset, and just venting their anger! The person that posted that "dude" statement obviously knows very little about law! Also to the person who made that statement about the exclamation point, do you know about correct punctuation? Exclamation points used to express strong emotions and points in letter writing! You really should read up on state and federal laws before you make assumptions! FYI! Stay strong folks 😀

You know what else is distinctive? My name! If they want it, then I'll be glad to give it to them! All they have to do is ask! It's also my first amendment right to say what I want! Considering I was a former employee of this company, I don't give a damn if they know who I am or not! Got that? DUDE!

Dude who uses exclamation points for every rambling post: consider changing it up every once in a while. Your writing style is very distinctive, and could be used to identify you.

Would you really want to know when the worst is yet to come? It's kind of like knowing the day of your exact death! You're better off not knowing, and just planning for it! Instead of knowing when it'll happen, and regretting something you could've done differently! If you fear that your job may be next, then it's best you get out now! The CEO f---tard Fritz is going to knife anyone he wants! Many people have moved on already! I recommend everyone do the same! NO JOB IS SAFE AT THE UP!

No, this is not a global slowdown and had and has nothing to do with that. However if the economy did tank I have no doubt Lance will adjust his lies and blame it all on the economy; how convenient for him.

Take a peel over the rim of your own little fish bowl and you'll see this isn't all about UP. There is a global slowdown taking place that is affecting all businesses across the globe. So to answer your question as to when....This is as good as it will get for the foreseeable future, and it will get extremely bad sometime in 2019 and beyond.
