Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Next wave of layoffs confirmed

Mark your calendars everyone. I just heard from a credible source that the next wave of layoffs will hit hard before christmas. JV and his minions are planning it now. It will be positioned as “right sizing” the management ranks as we become a technology powerhouse company. What bull we all know it’s just about juicing the financials before the company is sold off and then Icahn, JV and crew head off into the sunsets with their bags of gold.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Get ready everyone.

To 5vsh: do we work on the same group? Other the 401k compliance which I don’t know anything, your statements resonate.

There is a site in Facebook. You have to be ushered in. I found the negativity caustic. I got rid of FB all together.

There a raft of goodies in these replies for anyone concerned about Xerox, but the site is lay-off focused. Does anyone have awareness of other anonymous sites where non-lay-off gripes can be aired? Would be great it xerox itself had one..

Someone should point HR to this site. First, the leveling exercise is being gamed. Execs (E2 in this case) have 8 or more directs in the system but if you look at the org structure they have less. They are claiming 8 but some of those 8 report to others. Next, even now with GEMS we still have offshores collecting multiple paychecks as a single person. Finally, 401k is non-compliant. Not funny.

That makes sense that there would be a Nov IRIF but they usually do it before the Holiday. Not so classy. Good luck.

I heard from a reliable source that there will be some sort of IRIF on Nov. 29 or 30.

I would be shocked if there wasn’t a wave in November.

Lessons to be learned:

-NEVER acquire a company where Icahn is a majority shareholder

-Never work for a company where Icahn is a major shareholder.

As eventually he will bring in his over paid cookie cutter minions in to search and destroy. His history is nothing but consistent. Even Trump’s Taj Mahal fell victim amongst a long list of other companies, a list too long to include. The list of companies with a positive outcome after his intervention could fit on a 2”x2” post it note.

It's not difficult to predict "Xerox layoffs right before Christmas". That's like predicting "sun rises in the East tomorrow morning".

Executive 101.. protect those you communicate with.. minions are disposable when you need to cut costs. This new leadership team seems to be clueless that the “minions” used by prior poster is actually doing the work and have been decimated by a more than decade of cuts to the “minions” . They only know what they hear from the “legacy Xerox Executives” trying to save their skin.

They seem to be clueless of skill set of these “minions”. You really could save money and give some people raises by eliminating those clueless Executives!!!!

Lets hope they figure out executives and upper middle managers don’t always contribute to bottom line and keeping the ship running/afloat. Really tired of being the worker doing and getting direction from 4+ Executive/upper middle managers to stop x and do y. At least that’s how it’s bring communicate (Executive A who has no clue how we work expects Upper Middle Manager B to deliver C). Me, the minion is the only one able to deliver C and it’s now coming from multiple Executives/Upper middle managers.

I hope someone in Xerox HR is monitoring this site. The minions are getting tired!!!!
