Before reducing all the work force, why doesn't Sam's Club be a leader, not trying to catch up with the other guys. Put associates back in the departments from the time the doors open until closing, have member service, be sales people again, watch your sales go up. Get back to our core values that Mr. Walton believed in. Take care of your associates and your associates will take care of your business. Bring your associates out of Receiving, Cash Office, PTC, Claims and any other place you choose. Put them on the floor do not eliminate their jobs. Reminds me of young adults thinking they can do it better than mom and dad. Just go ahead and put the quarter deposit in the carts so that everyone will bring their carts back to the building and eliminate the cart attendants also.

Bravo !
Sometimes it's not about the technical work your doing but the time you've put in. If you've been with Sam's club for 20+ yrs and you make 20+ dollars regardless if you stock, push carts, drive lift, cashier...whatever you've earned it!!! And most of those people started at about $6.30 an hr and worked for their increases. You newbies starting at $11.00 + that think you should have " more" need to get over yourselves. You don't even know what it means to work. Just a bunch of in your feelings brats!!
Don't believe someone in produce should be making 20 plus an hour either. Maybe a cake decorator, meat cutter and yea forklift drivers should make more than stocker's and the ones who don't agree with that hasn't really had to drive a lift very much or have never driven a lift
because no one who zones freezers or pushes carts for a living should be making 20+ an hour, sometimes mommy and daddy have to trim the fat.
I agree, but there is no getting through to them. Just like a spoiled teenager who thinks they know it all.
