Re-org to be announced in coming days. Mainly doing away with geographic alignments. Workforce reductions across all units, most departments. Headcount slimming down to conform with re-org from de-duping functions. Reductions not covered by VSP will result in RIF actions. RIF will be anywhere from 10%-25%, depending on team and function. Smaller, satellite locations to be shuttered. Hubs being emphasized. Have not heard about changes to VSP (yet). Have not heard anything about HQ re-lo.
Lots of this sounds like "duh, of course" common sense stuff, but hearing pieces separately from more than one source as leaks becoming more common. There will be some sad days ahead for lots of us even if we still have jobs as colleagues and friends lives will be changed despite the call for volunteers and the willingness of others to continue on.
