the local exchange areas of vz landline will be sold off to small telcos. ctl, att and frontier gearing up to do same. no money in maintaining copper plant for rez cus. small telcos purchasing rez will convert to 5g lower overhead. vz will still support biz in these local exchange areas over fiber. vz has been positioning for years to be a backbone provider making $$$ on reselling to ld, small telcos and small wls companies. almost no overhead and almost all profit. the big 4 are all following this strategy.

The stock price of Verizon has been climbing even though we have uncertainty. Maybe the insider traders know what is coming.

Sprint and T-mobile are wireless companies. Verizon is a wireless company however, Google is not a wireless carrier. Apple to Apple... Apple to Orange ..... not the same.

Dumb. How could Verizon be for sale, while it’s taking sprint and T-Mobile years to merge? Today, the government wouldn’t allow it.
