Next week could turn out to be really, really bad for a lot of us. If I was offered a buyout, I would be jumping on it right about now. Those who have that option are the lucky ones in all of this.

Your right, This Company is a joke. It’s nothing more than a cellular phone company. Lowell killed every corner of innovation that we could have had. His video direction was wrong with go90 and IPTV. That was a bust. Fios is barely hanging on to the customers it has because the whole platform s---s. VOD and IMG is the worst product in the industry right now.
Then they buy aol and yahoo???? Someone explain this nonsense. We don’t even have a viable video advertisement platform. We are using Comcast Spotlight.
So now the new dream is 5G. This is 90 percent marketing and 10 percent technology. Glorified WFi hotspots all over the map is your answers? See how many trucks will still need to be dispatched everyday. The only guy that had this figured out was Ivan. Fiber to the home was and is the only solution long term. The problem is Verizon never developed good systems to run on the Fiber. The best systems we have running in the fiber is still old Qam Motorola junk. Verizon should have had a smart TV app out years ago. We should be so past the Set TOp Box phase right now. This is a joke and it’s a management issue. They do need reorganization. They spent and wasted so much money on VLSS b---s--- instead of innovation.
Then Lowell wasted millions trying to bust the unions. He was so unsuccessful and the damage is still being corrected?
I really hope we do see changes. If I’m one of the ones let go I’m fine with it. I think I could help turn this company around but we’ll see if the cream rises and the sh-- sinks.
