That will never happen, Bilko needs his clueless mates on £50 grand plus, now his son in IT DEPT wonder when his mrs starting as his assistant, the place is going down hill fast because of the man in charge
There will be a massive influx of work with oil prices going towards one hundred dollars a barrel, think about this before you except a two year deal, a two year deal isn’t good you need to look at the big picture 2 1/2% is okay but the sticking point is shift pay they need to increase it by 2 1/2% for the next 3 years.

Comments have been made that Bilko doesn't like and has had removed, but the fact is he's filling the factory with his own people because they won't tell him how it is, these people have no engineering back ground, the place isn't successful because of them it's in spite of them, and there is more money in the pot but he wants to save it for more of the inadequate staff he has already employed, the shop floor needs to grow some backbone and reject his latest offer, the money he saves will spent on staff bonus's, think about it!!

2016 -7.5% pay cut
2017 +2.5% increase
2018 +2.5% increase
2019 +3.5% increase
=1% increase over 4 years
Factor in inflation
2016 +2.1%
2017 +2.1%
2018 +2.4%
2019 +2.0%(estimated)
Given your 1% increase over 4 years once you factor inflation into this in real terms it works out that you will be 7.6% worse off in 2019/2020 than you were in 2015.
Does thay sound like a good deal to you?

Made to order mixers are designed by id--ts who have no knowledge of how things get made....and they are so arrogant they do not care...
I think the writing has been on the wall for some time now with regard to the Chemineer product. The engineered to order product would be manufactured at the Dayton facility; with only the small mixer range being manufactured at Manchester.
Derby to Montrose to Manchester in 3 years was always going to cause this problem. They treated everyone like sh-- each time they moved it and why would any experienced people want to continue with it.
