Better invest your time in some product company. Cisco TAC is worse than a services company.

Good if you're fresh into experience. You'll learn a few good things. Have an exit plan before you join and work towards it, more than 3 years at TAC is a waste of your life. The longer you stay there, there more difficult it is to get out.
Currently TAC is a 1 to 3 year gig for newbies to get experience and then move on to other things.
I spent a fair amount of time working in the TAC, but it was several years ago. I agree with the previous post quoted above. When I was there it was a great place to start your career or rebuild it if needed ,but I found it to be a harsh environment. Not a long term career plan.
Did an interview for senior tac once with them got through all stages most of the questions where pretty standard basic stuff, salary is not that bad but a little under the rates for someone with experience. Seems to be mostly a trace grinding gig nowdays, and you can clearly see the difference in knowledge from the past compared to today. The focus is on closing the cases in whatever way possible rather than fixing stuff. Tac engineers now seem lost if some investigation and out of the box thinking is required, mostly referring any scenario as unsupported as the standard cookie cutter answer if its to much for them, escalating also does help much since the next guys know-how is just slightly better, when stuff finally gets to the BU the trace grinding gets excessive.

Never Join. After 2016 it has become bad
TAC-Termination Around Contact is a notorious organisation now led mostly by cheap Asian country and outsourcing vendors of Cisco. Join it to spoil your career.
