Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

New id--ts working

The new id--ts working at Whole Foods are terrible. Now the hiring process just doesn’t give a damn. New age Front end supervisors are like a disaster.

Recent experience

-Front end supervised steps up to help bag-

Sup: you need a bag today?

Me: yes that would be great

-sup does one bag than pulls out clipboard and discusses break strategy mid service. Cashier continues to run belt as sup stands like an id--t while hundreds of dollars worth of product gets ruined by the two bottles of wine that shatters at the end of the line because the sup has his head up his a---

I told them nope I’m done. Amazon can pay for it. I walked out and went to Costco. Oh hey they had 79% of what I needed. I’ll get the rest at my farmers market.

Bye byeeeee

When I make $100k a year, I too will make time to come back and lurk this message board, leaving the occasional pointless comment.

Left already for a 72k job. Within a year now making 100k. Leaving Whole Foods was the best decision of my life because my job is easier than Whole Foods was when I was a grocery supervisor!!

Well dont worry. Self check outs coming your way. I guess that id--t might have a better chance in staying or maybe you do.... who is dumber?

OMG! This is priceless! Not funny, but sounds so much like the WF I left. Had to laugh. Nothing at Whole Foods changes for the better. Whole Foods = Murphy’s Law. If it can get worse it will. So glad I quit when I did.
