Cisco's DNA is very different. It acquires and grow. Everyone knows, it is an amalgamation of many small startups with hard disjoint among them. So, Layoffs are imminent as when one person of a given startup is made head, they cannot think what work goes in another.
A possible blue-print for Cisco engineers: act like Google engineers!
