Our HRBP said there were things going on but she could not talk about it. Then, when pressed about buyout, she'd said we would see soon.

In IT, heard about RB but not gotten one
I'm in IT and no retention bonus. 19 yrs. Could this be my lucky year for a rif after years of requesting it?
Retention bonuses were given in IT last week. I have personal knowledge of this.
I personally know 2 folks who got retention bonus since last week.

I asked our depts HRBP today she said just a rumor. I don't think they are at liberty to say... hence the answer I was given
Someone mentioned it today, it was fuzzy (like confirmed, more to learn this week)... whatever that means... Still just a rumor.
