What is L rating? I'm in wireline and haven't been informed about this employee program. Maybe I'm ok for now?

I understand this will be announced to employees next week. Expect a reorg internally on the heels of this and there will probably be a fair amount of retained people given pink slips by eoy especially at Director level and above since Directors and above are not part of the outsourcing deal and there will be way too many with the reduced number of employees. The people who make out best in this deal may be the ones going to Infosys...

Yes letters are rolling out. Few folks with L rating are given retention letters. This Friday wireline will be informed about the movement in employee program. Followed by wireless. Dec 10% layoffs.
