What happens if I join Intel on receipt no. after H1 transfer before approval and it is denied after joining for some reason? Any past experiences or friendly advises in the wake of current situation??

Don't join unless you are a PhD. Even then you will end up getting @lst 1 RFE. If Intel is unwilling to wait till the actual transfer is finalized ask for a higher sign on given the risk factor associated with it. Intel won't abandon you though. You will be relocated to a non-US site and they will either appeal your denial or file an L1 and H1 for you or an O1 if you have a decent publication record or quite a few patents. (you will have to go through the lottery again for H1 since your H1 was denied)
Go back to India
I believe the legal team will try to reapply or depends on the case by case. I have not seen one
You will need go back to the company left before join intel
