Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

ORCL is a superb growth stock

This Quarter was strong and aggressive which is now being reflected in the upward trend of the stock north of $50. I have invested heavily in ORCL so hope you will too so as to benefit from the superb work by everybody at ORCL. Don't let the negativity of some come between you and a nice profit.

Go ORCL!

Oh, no no no, OP tells us it’s a phenomenal growth stock, minus the growth of course, but with the 3 stooges. Surely the stock market must have a sense of humor, didn’t all the investment managers grow up watching the series. Oh, shoot, it’s all computer reading now. Well, oracle and the 3 stooges are screwed then.

NEGATIVE rating on the stock now. Sell if you can, while the stock is propped up.

Oracle is the ONLY cloud publicly traded company that guided revenues down.

They are propping the stock up because of the investor lawsuits. You don't know when they will stop.

Buy Oracle at your own risk. No way to tell when it will go up or down, as they can prop it up when they want to, or pull the rug out at any time.

ORCL continues to surge everyday since earnings. Why would you sell a winner like this?

Oracle is the ONLY cloud publicly traded company that guided revenues down. BYOL games don't work LE, SC and MH. I am looking forward to seeing TK and MH at Alcatraz sharing a cell together.

Me thinks the company’s revenues have to be growing at a fast clip to be a growth company. 3 pct ain’t it!

The rise in stock price had a simple explanation as was reported after the earnings call this week...

"Meanwhile, Oracle’s earnings benefited from a whopping $10 billion worth of stock buybacks during the quarter. The company’s fiscal year earnings are expected to ride on massive share buybacks. The company’s board has permitted additional spending of $12 billion on share buybacks, which would boost the company’s earnings in fiscal 2019."

If you want to invest based on that, go for it! Otherwise, the big names in Cloud are showing stock gains based off of growth numbers that dwarf what Oracle is showing -- without any massive buybacks needed.
