Server and x86 had a walled monopoly, not hard to look good and rob your rich customers.
Oh wait AMD is now reappearing with a good chip and going to deliver 7nm next year, seems like a reappearance of the late 90s.
What is different is AMD will be using superior TSMC technology and have access to their huge capacity and clock work technology delivery
And Intel has no CEO, missing 10nm and limping along on fifth desperately iteration on 14nm with no ability to predict when designs can really ramp on the next node
