My entire wireline team was told today they have have an offer to leave but won’t see it in writing until Monday. There will be a web portal where employees can look at their personalized offers based on tenure / age etc..

Any word on if this is just for people meeting the 75 criteria or if this is for all employees?

I'm surprised at the cavalier attitudes of some on this board. Cut backs, RIFs, whatever you want to call them are a way of life at Verizon. Some people are nervous. No reason to mock, your job might be next.
I got the same verbal message from my director this morning. He stated the director team was informed of the information on a call this morning, and the 1st/2nd levels will get info on Monday. He gave us no specifics, but said we will discuss on Monday (team conference call already been scheduled) and we will get an e-mail with our individual specific buyout information on Monday also. We are part of the Kyle Malady/David Smalls organization.
