I have a procedure scheduled for next Tuesday. Will we have active insurance then?

Cancel it! Unless of course it is to get your head removed from your a$$, then keep it scheduled. If you are too stupid to understand how insurance works, you need to be talking to Darwin, not an online forum.
Do not cancel. You will still have insurance. If and when you are let go then take COBRA unless you already have other insurance arranged, e.g. via a spouse or a new employer. If for some reason you are not eligible for COBRA then take State Continuation, and start looking into Obamacare.
Do not cancel it. Nothing is going away
Do not cancel procedure. The rebadging will be effective in the next two months. Nothing is immediate.
Better cancel your procedure just to be safe.
Yes, you'll be fine. You can get fired for Periscoping yourself doing lines of coke off a dead h--ker in a work van and still have healthcare until the end of the month.
Nothing real is happening tomorrow. Even a RIF has you covered for a little while.
