Word in the halls at HQ CB will be out by end of March. If she doesn’t execute she is out.

She doesn’t appear to have any friends at her peer level or above. It’s interesting to hear the things they say about her.

CB struggling to understand, let alone implement, the model that she conceptualized a year ago. To OP's note, the vp assigned to cover her largest customers left because she has no vision beyond her all hands kumbaya slides.

RG has sent strict directive last week... "..staff 70% of every consulting deal from India and Austin Hub.." -- there are 65 consultants in Austin-H and 160 or so in Bangalore...total North America -OCS headcount as of now is 790 or so...20% fat/managers-- that leaves about 300 consultants to get tossed around and/or let go...

what did RG mean by "attach consulting to all of your deals?" Does that mean consulting fees that would be applied for the implementation of cloud fusion contracts?

Not really news. Been whispers among those in the know the end is coming in January and February for the CSM org.

It’s not the CSM fault when the customer meet intends to use the products or renew.

If RG says Cloud has to be part of every deal or it won’t get approved, then you include it in the deal. If you know they will approve more aggressive discounts for the customer if you include cloud, then you include it. If the customer doesn’t want to pay support and there is a program to migrate support dollars to cloud dollars, then you did it - especially if you’re going to get paid more and who cares if the customer doesn’t intend to renew. It’s RG and managements problem if they create programs and comp plans to cause that behavior. They are clearly not this stupid.
