Nothing showing in VZ News / Finance / internet search's . If it was anything of substance it would have been reported by now.

When I got laid off in November 2017 there were people posting here and saying the same nonsense. I can tell you it was very real back then and the people who still work for Verizon I know confirmed they got an offer to leave. Not sure why people get on here and say this stuff but they do. I had one person tell me that no one in their department got laid off so it didn't happen to me. Just amazing to me. Good luck to everybody on how the future works out for you.
The stock markets cares, usually the stock market rises on this type of news. Cutting costs ( downsizing head count) is seen as very positive news.

I was surprised to see the numbers of people over 70 still employed.
They legally have to provide the jobs and ages. Notice how they provide it in a form that is almost impossible to digest, so you can't see if there is any age bias involved.
Eligible employees in the eligible organizations received an email this morning. Takes you to a website to see what you would get personally. It is real for those who are eligible.
Some organizations were not included. My entire organization got it. What was funny was the list of job grades/ages per organization. I was shocked they provided that.
None of those places care about Vz employees.
What are you talking about? It's real and if you didn't get an email it means you are not eligible for the package.
