This is a very bad side indeed you know Eddie doesnt want to loan more money because its probably at the end as of now. Remember he can collateral just so much so he obviously knows that things are in a shaky situation.

The only thing that can really give Sears maybe this xmas a run is the Kenmore deal, but PBGC wants the whole cut apparently. The sale can most likely go through, but how much would Sears pocket out of this?

Can't give out loan any more because he knows it will not survive.

Him not loaning money is a very bad sign! This is definitely the end! I was always told that once he stops lending money then be concerned.

Will ESL accept 25 cents on the dollar as Lampert suggests non-secured creditors do? Fat chance.

What you said would is the equivalent to one of Bill Cosby's victims after Bill d--gged and had his way with them. Then paying them off to stay quiet and then for some strange reason the victim thanks him for it...

Thank GOD for Eddie Lampert. His expert leadership and benevolent loams he has made to SHC over the years is the ONLY reason sears has any stores left.

Eddie has performed a miracle as far as I'm concerned.

There comes a point there's only so much you can help.

@iby - Eddie has been the one spouting off about his great transformation of SHLD and the promising future that it holds. If he is brazen enough to tout that twaddle, then he should be more than willing to invest every cent he has into his scheme. If he actually believes in what he is going to accomplish, then what has he got to lose?

Everything is cheaper in a bankruptcy sale. Why buy now? The best properties were already shifted to his portfolio

maybe because he doesn't want to put any more money into Sears, or just like Sears, he's broke.
