this is already public knowledge quit acting surprised. I was told 10% of retail must be off the books by year end. And if enough people dont take the retail packages then forced layoffs would occur.

xvm please get your ducks in a row, update your resume, do some networking, whatever. It's a matter of when, not if. I was laid off in 2016 and it was awful but I'm in a good place now because I had good relationships and reached out for help. Never spent a single day out of work and I've gotten a lot of perspective since then. There's life after VZ but you can't sit around drinking kool-aid. It's not going to get better.

I do believe this came about the same time negations were going on whether to have a Union or not in the wireless stores. Not always a good thing. The company has investors to answer to. Loosing money is never a good solution.
I know retail is getting packages but my understanding was that it would occur after the holidays.
