Thread regarding JPMorgan Chase & Co. layoffs

Chase call center in arlington

Chase managers kept saying that we as a location would be moving to two different sites and then they called everyone off the phones to say the decision had been made to close our site and that no one would be relocated. WTF.

Call center at 9900 katyfreeway. I was terminaed after almost 5years. They said performance but they wanted to downsize. Chase is a dirty company. Dimons the leader. Stop banking there.

My husband was fired at the beginning of December for not meeting his stats after nearly five years of loyal employment. I warned him this would happen because they are trying to get rid of staff before

the lease is up. Also, he wasn't allowed to keep any paperwork or emails. I am looking for employees who can show proof of impending layoffs and evidence of supervisors repeatedly changing the way the grade stats of employees in order to get rid of staff.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is laying off 102 people in Houston as their tasks are reassigned to employees in another units

The workers being let go have provided support to bank branches in the areas of workforce management as well as fraud and customer protection services, according to documents released Friday by the Texas Workforce Commission.

In a statement, JPMorgan Chase said it “always look for ways to operate more effectively and efficiently, driving down costs for our customers and clients.”

Outplacement assistance and other severance-related benefits will be provided to eligible employees. The company will also assist the workers in finding and applying for available jobs within JPMorgan Chase.

The employees, located at 9900 Katy Freeway, were given a 60-day notice period, with the first termination date expected to begin Nov. 12.

That Katy Freeway location will still have about 1,250 employees. The company, overall, has roughly 6,000 employees in the Houston area.

The way JPMC is doing layoffs is a nightmare, the strategic solution is to cut to the bone, I have direct knowledge that many managers don't know who will be leaving, but the decision was already made by the HR bean counters, but when layoffs are used repeatedly without a thoughtful strategy, downsizing can destroy an organization's effectiveness, and that is exactly what the management swamp does to buy their time.
