Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

SA preparing for CEO role?

Somehow I wouldn't be surprised at all, given the dinosaur AB's record.

How about hiring a American Indian ( 500 federally recognized tribes, indigenous peoples). Use a Co-CEO's model at Intel.

Reverse merger, Intel India and Intel China become subsidaries with their own CEO's, that report to CO'ceo's in US.. Intel India subsidary is autonomously and can be spun off from the Intel in the US at any time. Then use an HR ACT like action to move East Indians to that cost center.

Does not address that Intel US could still get a Chinese or Indian CEO. We need to make sure that never, even US citizen with any Indian blood becomes CEO...vote Trump

Neither SA, MR or NS, remove the poison. As for BS,navigating the politics at Intel is a challenge in it's self. Reverse merger, Intel in India and China become subsidaries with their own CEO's, that report to CO'ceo's in US.. Then one could make Intel India autonomously and spin them off from the Intel in the US. Then move all the useless East Indian over to a foreign subsidary of Intel India.

I hate to defend BS, but I actually think he is the only one who has done his job. He was brought in from a different industry (EBay, not a Semi) and had none of the culture of Intel in his veins. His job was to manage the assets. Even he couldn't predict the 10nm debacle, and the Long Term Debt via big acquisitions was ultimately not his decision. He's done a decent job at managing the books given the turmoil surrounding him.

He's not a real CEO. The BOD and even he acknowledge that's not his job; he's INTERIM. And both know he can't make any major moves ahead of a new CEO. BS is just trying to hold the ship together while the BOD goes thru its motions. So let's give BS a break (I can't believe I said that).

Hope not. AB has had more than three months to find a competent executive outside of Intel to help it's resurrection. If he hadn't found anyone by now, one could assume that none of these outsiders want the job. He probably will go with the old playbook and hire an incompetent insider. Poor Intel can't get out of it's own way. Meanwhile useless Bob continues to sit on his a-- and do nothing.
