~60 people across multiple product lines were let go today in NC, MA and even India. Clearly, this people paid with their jobs for the mistake that is Oracle cloud

True, I heard of 11 in my unit, including practice director. Mgmt still has loads of bull headed ppl. May more RIFs be seen in their herd.
CSMs have one job... one job! If you can’t make customers successful using our cloud products then you probably need to be laid off. MH and SC should be paid lay-off bonuses as part of their comp plans to encourage more layoffs.

The Oracle Cloud is only one factor... Managers that are out of their league technically and only care about cutting costs are another problem. One bad decision after another from pretty high level managers is only going to continue to sink this GBU. And the lower level managers are mostly "yes" men and won't fight back against the idiocy and stupidity from above.
