I have never been below a 1.1, and I received a .75 this year.
Did anyone else get a very low IPF this year?
I'm in the US.

1.6
s'all good man. For me at least :)
Should have gotten 0.9 cause that's more or less the job % I actually worked... got more than 1.
ain't nothin' like a 2 hour noon sleep while WFHing ;)
got 1.15 while other team members were slaughtered...
All folks, who got less then 1. Start looking for Jobs, specially in IT. No innovation , IT senior leadership is showing their value by cutting people/cost
If you are part of the kill list , it is blessing in disguise . Market is good.
this time whoever is in the kill-list was given very low ipf like 0.5-0.8 regardless of their real performance.
this saves october bonus money which can be spread among the remnants of the herd or kept for director/manager bonuses.
Does IPF affect LR decisions?
I had heard that it was harder to put someone with high IPF on the LR list. Is that true?
2.2 - 1.4 - 1.2. Getting worse.
got 1.9
Simple algebra. You bonus = salary * grade %contract amount * cpf * ipf.
Easy to figure out ipf when you know the other figures.
how do you find out or work out your IPF?
HR guidance is to have bigger differentiation between low performers and high performers, so more IPF 0.5-0.8 at low end and more 1.7-2.0+ at high end.
My IPFs are pretty random while my performance is pretty stable.
I guess, my manager needs to spend from time to time additional money on co-workers for one reason or another.
I've got 1.15 IPF at grade 10 SJC. Less then last year (
Have a job lined up and take the package too, lay off may be few weeks away only.
rumor around my water cooler has it managers are hard at work telling people to start looking and clear out, with plan being announcing the pkg only when 50% of target people leave on their own (without their pkg).
Start looking for a job so you have something lined up when you get the pink slip. Although from what I see from comments here layoffs might only a week or two away, so at atleast that much headstart.
You are likely be part of List start your job hunt
The most vulnerable are probably the folks on h1 and cisco filed green card for them. They have no escape route and could get LRed anytime and be out of status. If there are no older americans left to cut, they could be next.
The rest of us who are citizens of wherever we are sjc blr et al can atleast crawl away to safety
All the principals i talked to in recent interviews - old people with good industry insight reiterated that csco convulsions are similar to what nortel lucent ibm went through and it was unlikely to survive in current format. I guess CR is trying ti pivot the ship into sw with acquisitions and getting rid of hw oriented R&S people in a never ending series of purges. I was watching The Purge series on amazon prime ... eerie similarities to our monthly slaughter festivals
My name is on the list for sure. Got nothing now.
0.5 was already paid in feb so my ipf is 0.5
A friendly manager in another team told me thats what they are doing to those on the list . Giving 0.5 ipf. This in blr
None can argue as no review public record exists and old 360 review is dead
I interviewed in 4 places last two weeks and finally got an offer which i accepted. Glad to be out of the cesspool . Need to turn around my health which has considerably broken in the last six months through the daily triage beatings and war rooms. The code cannot seem to sit in unbroken state for more than 1 day
Waiting for muh package now. Sooner the better , bring it on
30% opex reduction is being talked of in a certain large bu
Mine is 0.8 :(
In my group, most of the people received either 1.0 or 0.9 IPF
Thanks. I've had lots of positive feedback and nothing seriously negative. Not sure what is happening.
Mine was 1.7. After all the LRs, there's just about no one else left to compete with.
