Anyone involuntarily separated prior to June 28 will receive the enhanced package.

No, that isn't the case. Only people who apply for the voluntary package will be eligible for the 3 week / year offer. If you apply and don't get it, you will still get the same deal if you are included in the RIF, up till June.

Anyone who doesn't apply, will only be able to get 2 weeks.

Anyone involuntarily separated prior to June 28 will receive the enhanced package. Sure there may be a layoff here and there. But they want to see how many takers they get first. I expect they'll get a few.

Before asking ridiculous questions, think things through and you'll find your answer. Unless you're looking to troll. Simple answer is that there are no layoffs in the middle of a volunteer package. As for what is happening in November, anyone with half a brain will know that that is when reorgs are announced and we will be having one as it is currently the discussion with many teams across the company. Everyone who has been around for years knows that changes in organizational structure changes during 3rd quarter for the new year. Now move it along troll.

You can count on it just like you count on the sun to rise every morning... 2.5 billion a year!!! People where do you think that money will come from????? Yes layoffs will continue & continue & continue... Get you house in order "if you hadn't years ago - when they first started the layoffs" and prepare to look for another job - This is not the only company on the planet, the sun will still rise & set after you've gone.

Hans said on his interview yesterday that they will consider additional changes in November. That tells me “additional layoffs or outsourcing “
