Our SM just got told by the DM to cut hours again. Most of us are below 15 and some only getting 10 or less. Most of the people they have hired for the Christmas season are now only getting three to four hours a week. Anyone elses store like this or is it just our SM and DM?

Our SM cuts hours below what we are suppose to have so he can look good on the reports. It is now coming back to bite him because most are quitting because of getting low hours.
You can work at home as a customer service agent too. They train you and have a variety of hours. Basically , where is my stuff? Wrong / defective stuff shipped, people who don’t understand memberships they sign up for ie free trials, how credit or debit cards work and what are they. Those kind of questions on repeat. If, you handle it, I am sure they will hire you. It is super easy. Just have a high speed internet connection and fairly new desktop and they will hire you.
Unfortunately, there are a lot fewer Amazon warehouses than there are/were Sears/Kmart stores. There are still at least 3 Sears stores closer to me than the nearest Amazon warehouse, which is about 2 hours away.
Come to Amazon. Nov 1st pay wage will be $15hr. You'll have full time hours and a benefits package. Work can be strenuous, but that all depends one's work behavior. You work hard and be consistent with little mistakes you will be recognize. Every 6 months is an automated pay increase. There are promotions every 3 months.
Are you tied to a pill a r in the store? What is stopping you from leaving?
Is that Sears or Kmart because I’m not a Sears and I’m a lead and they have all of us leads at 40 hours rain even cut in hours giving us more work but not cutting our hours. I wish they would hurry up and file bankruptcy so we can get the hell out of here.

See if you state offers partial unemployment for reduced hours. This is essentially a layoff.
