Has anyone used the new recieving claims app? How is it ? Is it better ?

The cim labels they are working on getting fixed I believe
The receiving app is ok but I wish you could print the cim labels from it. I don't really think it saves much time. It will be I interesting when all receiver papers go away. I haven't learned claims yet waiting on claims it first.
I think the app is okay, will be better when the kinks are worked out, my issue is how the fresh loads are received automatically at noon and midnight and trying to report if you don't get the original...
my over night manager helps sometimes too but it usually too little too late....overnight receiving person is 4 nights out of 5 running scared they won't be able to get done.....
maybe if we would of gotten any kind of training it would be better but as of now it SUCKS ASS
My overnight manager is always helping receiving out. Ive seen him back there numerous times unloading trucks while they are on break or lunch. He treats receiving like the rest of the club and even has us help slot freight on very heavy freight nights.
Its confusing
That is the best truth I have ever read. I too have been with the company for 20 plus years and have now seen it at it's lowest level. Good luck everyone!

you have not been with Sam's very long have you...no matter how promising a change may appear on the front end it almost always means things are worse...in the years I have been with the company things just gradually got worse but in recent months things have taken a seriously sharp downhill turn..The app may make things a bit easier in and of themselves but how that will translate is the loss of hours to get the job done so the sum will be worse. Receiving is being purposefully kept on the ragged edge of do-ability. Since on some days/ nights on person can go it alone the managerial thinking is it must always be done alone. Management does not simply forget or overlook the fact receiving is in dire straights they actively choose and plan to keep it that way. In a month,s time there may be a day or two when things are caught up but even then caught up only really means you are almost caught up. Sort of like being a lap down in a race but still declaring that that you nearly won the race.
on a different note our club is falling apart in each dept. no leadership . managers are inept . a very small hand full of people doing the necessaries that make the club limp along. Sam's is dying of an internal cancer. When she breathes no more it will have been her own undoing. Home office is handing out knives to the managers who are hypnotically following the suggestions to stab the club to death all the while believing they are doing helpful things.
