Rumor has it the V2Momma doesn’t like red badges - and as one I can tell you I’m so underpaid a recruiter laughed at my rate. PM overload and many are really admins. Heard 10/26 for reds, 11/1 or 5 for blues. location location location- if you’re in an expensive area or not a center area...
One Senior Director & few other Program Managers from AS (now part of CX) have been asked to resign or already resigned in India.
Many more Managers & Project Managers will be notified soon based on the equation they have with their second line & the clients they have been supporting.
AS is over crowded with little or no value add to their clients due to the mismanagement & snake oil selling tactics by the earlier director who has already abandoned the sinking ship.
40% of contractors in CX in the US will be shown the door. Apparently they are overpaid. CSCO will hire new ones or rehire the same folks but at a lower pay.
November 1 or November 6, do we know what day yet? Every conference call starts with rumor sharing.
S---s being in cisco services, Maria made grand promises about new internal CX jobs being posted but I haven't seen anything of substance. It was all a lie.
Rtp has a veteran and very good L2 team in xr who worked on asr9k
@Vu61W3L. Not so much in RTP from what I can tell.
V2Momma is cleaning house. Hiring is good, jump while it’s good
Definitely about 30-40% of people being laid off. As a red badge in product management I have been told my contract may be terminated at the end of October. This is not related to any customer leaving, but because of the merger into CX. Maria has a big rep for slashing a lot of people.
Someone finally realized you can't beat CLI + IOS
Fake news
If this is the 1bn contract getting pulled expect 1000 to 1200 layoffs in CMS
Cisco is thriving. With their enormous presence, one customer (regardless of size) doesn't mean layoffs. Just more pressure on their sales teams to find the next largest customer.
Bs.. CX is doing better than ever.
Depends on how many customers you have. PR release doesn't mean money changes hands.
So .... one customer pulls out and that results in major layoffs?
GTFOH 🙄
