just heard that Infineon wants to expand in connected car and interested to buyback mobile division from Intel.
while rf division will goto apple....

I hope this is true. I worked at the Duisburg site, and it was in a sad state of affairs. There was never any money to hire new grads. IBIS was a technical flop. And the worse part was having to help clueless colleagues from India, who were badmouthing the site behind our backs. Intel should sell it or close it down. Chipzilla has no business in mobile.
