ITC Reorg is coming...

@fppa- no, these are actual technical positions that we need, but don't have the OC to fill them. some of them have already gone external to fill them. there is no ITC ROM coming. Tech Computing just did their reshuffle, but no reduction in headcount. IT is increasing headcount if they can get the people to even want to come to the company.
The company doesn’t remove the positions nor will it it fill them, Fdhj. How long have you worked at Chevron? I’ve seen this happen across all the Business Units.
@xbmk- there's no ROM coming. you're an id--t. ITC has over 100 unfilled positions from the PDC.
No, this is no BS troll post. The end of year is approaching and the news of a ROM or reorganization of ITC is coming. Save some money for Christmas before you’re blindsided by the news.
I know for a fact that there's no "ITC reorg" coming. It's already outsourced a bunch of stuff. The remaining bulk of ITC is not technical enough for the new age of technologies, and Chevron does not pay the actual technical IT people enough for anybody good to want to join the company. So we have 100+ unfilled positions. Just in time for other groups' ROMs so we can stick a petrotech in a software development role..........!
What’s the impetus? They haven’t even been able to fill all the open positions for the past 1.5 years. Does this include US upstream and downstream IT?
Don’t let them badger you into closing out any ticket for issues that are still pending your satisfactory outcome. If they do this without your acknowledgement, call and have it reopened. Done start a new ticket. Keep their feet to the fire if you are serious of getting them to do their job.
Is that all today? Can I close our your ticket ha ha
Now this is what I am talking about!
Ya outsourced IT works so well on the weekends.... not.
Should all be outsourced any way.
