Heard from some folks that UP is planning to move HQ to Texas? Any truth, or would that be the Corporation?

I remember when we were still in St. Louis that the rumor was about a move to Ft Worth. Not going to happen. If anything UP will use this as leverage to get a sweeter deal with Nebraska.
I think he would have a very hard time getting elected in Nebraska, especially with how the employees view him...
Lol, why would UP move to Fort Worth? There's kinda a major competitor already headquartered there.

Not happening- close enough to know. They just bought out the HQ building from a lease at a cost of over $200 million
I could def see Houston, but SLC has had enough TE&Y screwed by furlough and rehire that they have a hard time hitting their hiring targets...
100 bucks says when the upc tax kickback lease is up in 2024, they will bolt for houston or salt lake. Theyve alienated any potential employee and freind or family in omaha. Only houstons size and slc's faith would supply the workforce they need to put up with thier bs.

Employees have heard the same thing on and off... Fort Worth was the popular talk. Would make sense if they cut this many people for the work Fritz to tuck tail and run away. He can’t hold a candle to Jim Young or even Jack Koraleski!
