Well, within weeks you will pay dearly for your stupidity, when you will not be able to pay for one or all of the dumba$$ debts you signed on for. Until now, your stupidity has had no consequences due to epic contortions on the part of Eddie, but those days just ended.
Apparently the people posting about Sears and a pending bankruptcy do not know jack s**t about how bankruptcies are handled.
A bankruptcy does NOT mean Sears is out of business. It means they have filed for protection from their creditors. It gives them time to restructure the business without outside influence and worrying about money.
Property leases, payroll and many other daily business expenses are not included in the bankruptcy.
Yeah. Maybe for SGM level and above but everyone pretty much knew for a few years now not to plan on a long term career position.

I don't think Sears store employees are able to afford a mortgage or a brand new car. Sears does NOT pay enough for a comfortable enough existence for its hourly employees to be able to afford home ownership or the finance of a new car.
Corporate employees, regional/district/store managers and maybe the ASMs/zone supervisors, sure, but any hourly associate? Not a chance unless they are married and their spouse works a better-paying job or they are semi-retired and looking to supplement their retirement or just pass the time between vacations. Same probably goes for employees of the call centers or the DC's.
