This is probably fifth time The Register is referring to TheLayoff as the initial source of info – they point to the tweet by TheLayoff noting that there is a big spike in visits on Cisco board. I’ve been saying this for a while now (on this board since 2015) that this site is probably the best predictor of what’s ahead of us when it comes to LRs (I’d say reorgs too)…
Just keep an eye on the number of posts per day and the number of views and you’ll know if something big is about to transpire… We probably had about 300 posts in last two weeks, and there was probably a dozen in a couple of months preceding it – so, this is our proverbial “there's no smoke without fire”

the politically connected employees are moved to different roles, while the workers lose their health insurance
Anybody know HOW MANY in RTP have been laid off? and have they all been notified?
They have been doing LR for some time and still doing it, they keep saying how much money in bank account, thinking what technology to buy, are they sure what to do? Apple, Google, Amazon, Microsoft or even Hauwei have clear targets, the Cisco management team is struggling.
My entire team got an meeting invite for tomorrow from our director. Can’t wait.
