I'm stressing once again (nothing new for me in the past several years, courtesy of working at Cisco) wondering if yesterday was it or if we'll see even more layoffs today.
Any chance we know for sure what today is going to look like?

CCIE and other Certifications are bringing easy money for Cisco. Would be dump to drop those.
Yesterday was the introduction to the end.
After 34 years it is going down hill.
The entire business is taking the axe.
Stock prices were expected to rise as long as the actual number of layoffs were hidden from view in what was called transparency.
Certification programs and other programs are slated for the axe.
Partner programs are next.
Sale is inevitable.
All will finish by end of November ...
US,India,EMEAR ... all is statistics, numbers ... there is no restructuring, it's just plain reduction of headcount, so there will be less OPEX and higher profit.
I don't know for a fact, but I suspect that this is not done just yet. Reading the mail from Maria it is clear that this process will continue at lease a few more weeks. In a lot of countries in EMEAR, national law has to be followed, so I suspect we will not see the full extend before just around Christmas.
can anyone confirm if BGL layoffs were done on monday (most people were on pto or fake wfh due to diwali hols on tuesday) or the big bang has been kept for wednesday !?
director/mgr critters were nowhere seen on email yesterday , just ducking and lying low until HR is done with the slaughter.
