Cisco is exiting a few businesses. Some are CCBU on premise, a few IoT acquisitions, old security products. They are outsourcing a few work of switching, routers and oam to services company accenture and wipro
Big Blue would buy us. Then we will face LRs bi-weekly.
No way the company would sell. Very few companies could even afford to purchases Cisco. And those who could have no reason to.
its already a public company, and its float and market cap way too much for any PE group to consider taking private.
you mean selling off some areas ? I agree thats a possibility it exit many areas where no chances exist of being top3 or things are messed up so badly that market share is in permanent slip.
