There is so much speculation about how many people will be gone by the end of this reorganization, and it's all over the place. I've seen and heard people predict anywhere from 10 to more than 40 percent of employees being let go between the voluntary buyout and RIFs.
In all honesty, I think the number is somewhere in between - anywhere between 20 and 25 percent. Anything above would be too much, anything below would make the whole thing pointless.
